Do you have a passion for games and would you like to work on our amazing puppet animation co-op platformer? Now's your chance. We’re looking for a programmer/developer generalist to join our team of enthusiasts to help us bring Vokabulantis to life.
Vokabulantis is a 2D co-op platformer made with real handcrafted assets and real-life stop motion animations. Vokabulantis is inspired by games like Inside, Unravel and Little Nightmares, yet made by hand.
As our new Unreal Engine Developer, you’ll be working with the other programmers, supporting the designers, to ultimately bring the handmade assets and stop-motion to life within the Unreal Engine.
What you’ll be doing:
General tasks in Unreal Engine and C++
Implementing gameplay tools and features for designers - bringing their ideas to life.
Help build and maintain the game’s networking system.
Optimization, bug fixing & QA
You may have experience with:

Unreal Engine and Blueprints
C++
Networking and developing multiplayer games
Console development and porting
Working with games in general

Vokabulantis is a 2D co-op platformer made with real handcrafted assets and real-life stop motion animations. Vokabulantis is inspired by games like Inside, Unravel and Little Nightmares, yet made by hand.
As our new CG generalist you’ll be the link between the game designers and fabricators, bringing the handmade assets and stop-motion to life within the Unreal Engine.
What you’ll be doing:
Greyboxing & Whiteboxing of levels, including set dressing of game environments.
Working with level designers and fabricators/builders.
Working with processing of photogrammetry, including; retopology & unwrapping.
Working with trimsheets & traditional texturing (individual assets in software like Substance Painter).
You may have experience with:
Modelling in industry standard modelling software (Blender, Maya, etc.)
Working in Unreal Engine
Greyboxing, Whiteboxing & Set dressing
Composition within games
Working with games in general
Softwares like Substance Painter & Substance Designer
