Here's your chance to join the development of Vokabulantis—a handcrafted, stop-motion animated 2D co-op platformer inspired by Inside, Unravel, and Little Nightmares.
We’re looking for a generalist programmer/developer to join our passionate team and help bring this tactile, poetic world to life in Unreal Engine.
What You’ll Be Doing
Developing and maintaining core systems in Unreal Engine (C++)
Implementing gameplay tools and features for designers
Supporting and evolving the game’s networking/multiplayer functionality
General optimization, debugging, and QA support
You Might Have Experience With
Unreal Engine and Blueprints
C++
Networking and multiplayer game development
Console development and porting
Game development in any form—we care more about talent and passion than ticking every box

CG Generalist – Help Bring a Handcrafted Video Game to Life
Location: Aarhus, Denmark (on-site preferred, but open to international applicants)Do you love games and want to work on something truly unique? We’re building Vokabulantis, a 2D co-op platformer brought to life with real handcrafted assets and stop-motion animation—inspired by titles like Inside, Unravel, and Little Nightmares, but entirely made by hand.
We’re looking for a CG Generalist to join our team and help bridge the worlds of digital and physical creation—connecting game designers and fabricators to bring Vokabulantis to life inside Unreal Engine.
What You’ll Be Doing
Greyboxing & whiteboxing of levels, including set dressing and layout of environments
Collaborating with level designers and set fabricators to translate physical assets into gameplay spaces
Processing photogrammetry assets (retopology, unwrapping, cleanup)
Working with trimsheets and traditional texturing workflows (e.g., Substance Painter)
Helping to define composition and storytelling through spatial design
You Might Have Experience With
3D modeling in software like Blender, Maya, etc.
Building environments in Unreal Engine
Greyboxing, whiteboxing, and environment composition for games
Texturing using Substance Painter/Designer
Photogrammetry workflows
Or simply: a love for building visually rich game worlds
